The sweep is old, but the set up is more interesting.
Initially giving the impression of a scissor sweep with cross collar and sleeve controls, the opponent avoids leaning over me to counter the sweep, and tries to control my right leg. In turn I stay on my left hip and retract my right leg threatening foot on bicep sweep or triangle which the opponent is also aware of and starts to sit back. That’s when I switch grips to the back and post still pushing with my knee into his chest. Still thinking about not getting swept to his right side leaves his left side vulnerable…
